On 27th September, 2017,the review meeting of AIR Program was held in National Centre for Schooling Development Programme. As one of the participating universities of the first batch, Chongqing University of Education passed the program review of the experts and signed the contract to join the program.

 

On 9th January, 2018, Oriental Innovation and University of Central Lancashire(UCLan) visited Chongqing University of Education. The two parties held a meeting of AIR Program to discussed and negotiated the framework terms and details involved in the program cooperation.

 

On 12th January, 2018, Oriental Innovation and University of Central Lancashire held the AIR Program signing ceremony at NCSDP. The CEO of Oriental Innovation - Xiangkui Huang, and Pro-Vice Chancellor of UCLan - Time Steele signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

 

In April 2018, the delegation of Oriental Innovation and Chongqing University of Education visited UCLan.

 

On 29th August, 2018, the student service team and IELTS teaching team of Chongqing University of Education gathered in Beijing for a two-day training. After the training, the team will serve the upcoming program with a higher professional level.

 

On 6th September, 2018, the launching ceremony of the AIR Program of Chongqing University of Education and University of Central Lancashire was held at Nanshan Campus of Chongqing University of Education

 

In order to build an international team of bilingual teachers who meet the needs of cultivating talents in the new era, Chongqing University of Education has selected 18 young backbone teachers to get trained at UCLan to systematically learn modern educational concepts and teaching methods.

 

The RV Camping Special Committee of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce was introduced into the program, which jointly estalished the RV Camping Leisure Industry Research Institute with Chongqing University of Education. By sending industry experts and academic leaders from both sides of the university and the enterprise to conduct in-depth research on rv, camping, extended consumption behavior, cultural tourism industry and other directions, which provides new impetus for the regional cultural tourism industry.

 

Oriental Innovation provide fund for the AIR Program, to assist the school to transform the international environment, build an international education service center and a student service center, and to create a creative space for students' cultural exchange.

Since the operation of the project, many English corner and cultural salon activities have been held, where students have learned about coffee, wine and baking, listened to foreign teachers, alumni and guest lecturers sharing their learning experience and global knowledge, broadened their cultural horizon, and practiced their language and communication skills.

 

On 22nd May, 2019, organized by Global Education - the official language training partner of Oriental Innovation and AIR Program, the finals of the first English speech contest was held by International College of Chongqing University of Education. Through this competition, the students have enriched their knowledge of English culture, stimulated their enthusiasm for English learning and broadened their international horizon.
