Otago Polytechnic was developed from Dunedin Technical College founded in 1889 and Dunedin Art College founded in 1870. Otago Polytechnic is located in the famous city of Dunedin, which is the birthplace of New Zealand education. The college offers a wide range of specialized programs that enable students to earn undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees, as well as other graduate diplomas and study certificates. Besides, Otago Polytechnic also admits about 200 foreign students a year, with all courses are internationally recognized. Located in the north of Dunedin, Otago Polytechnic is a specially designed campus and is adjacent to The University of Otago and Dunedin College of Education.
